Nyobolt is Hiring a Financial Controller (Bedford, MA) Near Bedford, MA
We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our collaborative and dynamic team here at Nyobolt. We are ready to move into our next phase of growth and are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who is familiar with the atmosphere and challenges of a new startup and a new facility. You will be a key member of our team and perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization. You will prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements as well code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books.
Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the transactional processes - accounts payable & accounts receivable.
- Preparation of company monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, etc., adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of annual group statutory accounts.
- Liaise with local tax accountants to enable local and federal tax filings.
- Assist the UK Financial Controller with the annual audit.
- Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
- Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and conducting internal audits.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- Fully qualified - CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
- 3 years of accounting experience.
- Must be comfortable with multi-currency ledgers.
- Solid understanding of inventory management.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Experience of working in an international group structure would be desirable.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills and use of MS Excel.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
